Earlier this week, firefighters battled two wildfires that hit Southern California. The first fire known as the Bull Fire, hit the southeast part of Tehachapi. Authorities confirmed that the Bull Fire is now 12 percent contained and destroyed more than 16,000 acres. The second fire was in the northern part of Tehachapi in Sequoia National Forest and is known as the West Fire. It burned and destroyed 25 homes.
Spokeswoman Michelle Puckett of the U.S. Bureau of Land warned residents to keep their cars and house windows closed to prevent smoke inhalation
